Closing of Amoris Laetitia Family Year

The Year "Amoris Laetitia Family" , as announced by the Pope began on 19 March,2021 and ended on 26 June, 2022. This year helped individuals to explore the 'joy and beauty of familial love.' The year also aided in understanding the significance of community ties between families. 

The symbolic closure of the year of 'Amoris Laetitia Family' at Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail was done during the 7 A.M. mass on 26 June, 2022.  

The parish priest Rev.Fr.Joseph Martis, in the Homily, emphasized the need to keep alive the spirit of Amoris Laetitia in our lives. He stressed that parishioners and family members must live in harmony with love and the urge to help one another in times of need. 

The parish priest presented an elderly married couple and a recently married couple with a candle.
