SCC Prayer Meeting – Kuntikan Ward

The SCC prayer meeting of the Kuntikan Ward was held at the residence of Mrs. Celine D’Souza on 17th May 2026 at 4:30 PM in a prayerful and joyful atmosphere.
The meeting was meaningfully led by the children of the ward and commenced with the opening hymn, creating a spiritually uplifting environment for all the participants. A total of 21 ward members attended the gathering, including 5 enthusiastic children.
Mr. Austin D’Souza extended a warm and cordial welcome to all the ward members present. The Scripture reading was taken from the Gospel of John 14:15–21 and was beautifully proclaimed by Ms. Ruth Pinto and Master Neil Sequeira. The seven steps of the SCC prayer meeting were effectively facilitated by Master Reon Pinto.
During the reflection session, the children selected the inspiring phrase “I am with you” as their guiding message for the coming days. This was followed by heartfelt personal prayers offered by the children. The prayer service concluded with the hymn “Namo Namo Morie”, filling the gathering with devotion and gratitude.
The Gurkar, Mrs. Leena Lobo, presented the report of the previous meeting and encouraged everyone to continue participating actively in the ward activities.
Photographs of the ward members and a special group photo of the children were taken to cherish the memorable occasion. The Gurkar also organized enjoyable games for the children, and prizes were distributed to the winners, bringing great joy and excitement among them.
The meeting concluded with fellowship and refreshments, graciously served by the host family to all those present.
