Kadjahithlu Ward – Children’s Ward Meeting Report

 The Children’s Ward Meeting of Kadjahithlu Ward was held at the residence of Mr. Linal and Mrs. Jacintha Lasrado on 3rd May 2026 at 4:00 p.m.

The meeting was conducted by the children of the ward and was led by Miss Alysia Pearl Dsouza. It began with a warm welcome by Miss Neola Lasrado.

The Word of God was taken from the Gospel of John (14:15–21), which was read by Master Allan Prem Dsouza and Master Rosh Chris Dsouza. The verse “He it is who loves me” was chosen by the children as their guiding message for the days ahead. The children then recited personal prayers, and the first part of the meeting concluded with the recitation of the “Our Father.”

The children were appreciated and congratulated by the Gurkar, Mr. Rakesh D’Cunha, and the ward members.

 A few entertaining games were conducted for the children by Miss Rachelle D’Cunha, and prizes were distributed.

 Miss Alysia Pearl Dsouza was felicitated for securing 80% in the Class 10 Diocesan Examination and 93.9% in the SSLC Board Examination. She is also recognized as the 3rd topper of St. Ann’s School.
Master Allan Prem Dsouza was felicitated for securing 70% in the Diocesan Examination and for topping in his school.
Miss Lysa Ashel Dsouza was felicitated for securing 93.8% in the Class 10 CBSE Examination.

 Later, Fr. Steevan Nelson Peris, in his message, appreciated the way the meeting was conducted and the enthusiasm of the ward members. He also suggested that children be given the opportunity to lead the ward meeting once or twice a year so that they may grow closer to Jesus.

A total of 43 members, including children, were present.

The entire meeting was gracefully hosted by Miss Rachelle D’Cunha. It concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Miss Alysia Pearl Dsouza, after which snacks were distributed, bringing the gathering to a pleasant close
