Celebration of Pavsa Gammath at Konchady I Ward

The members of Konchady I Ward gathered for their ward meeting and Pavsa Gammath celebration on 11 August, 2024 at 5.30PM at the residence of Mr. Alwyn and Mrs. Pramila  Pinto.  The dignitaries present included Mrs.Benny Dcunha, the Gurkar; Bro. Chinnapa; and Mrs. Sheela Dsouza, the Parish Council vice president.

Mrs.Benny Dcunha welcomed everyone warmly. Mrs. Hilda D'costa led the meeting. There were 40 ward members present at the meeting (elders and children included).

Mrs Felcy Fernandes and Mr. Ivan Pinto  organised a housie-housie game for the ward members, and the winners received prizes.

Bro. Chinnapa delivered a brief message in the form of a story, offered grace before meals, and prayed God's blessings on all of the ward members' families.

Following the ward meeting, the members celebrated Pavsa Gammath, where everyone enjoyed seasonal monsoon delicacies. Ward members prepared approximately 25 dishes in their respective homes, which were served at the gathering.

The event brought joy and smiles to everyone's faces.
