Sangatha 2016 Back

The Sangatha - 2016 a one day youth orientation programme for the youth of the parish of Derebail, organized under the leadership of YuvaSpandanDerebail (YSD) along with the association of Young Catholic Students (YCS) and Christian Life Community (CLC) was held on 31st of July at Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail. The day began by invoking God's blessings through prayer followed by the formal function and inaugurating the event Sangatha.The ice breaking session held thereafter helped the youth get to know each other. Dr Caroline D’souza spoke to the youth on controlling one's emotions when caught up in different situations. Fr GratianAlvares celebrated the mass while all the youth joined in devoutly. Everyone enjoyed the delicious lunch served by the caterers. The afternoon went on in playing different games conducted by the team of ICYM City Deanery and YSD Derebail. Kevin Suares, the YSDPresident thanked everyone present for their presence and co - operation and the prizes were distributed to the various groups who won. Overall it was a day filled with fun and excitement that brought together all the youth of the parish of Derebail and ended with Baila dance.
