Farewell to Fr Peter D'souza Back
After serving Most Holy Redeemer Church for a period of six years, it was time for the parishioners to bid farewell to their Parish Priest Rev.Fr. Peter D’souza. A formal farewell ceremony was organized in the honour of Fr. Peter D’souza on the 7th of June, 2015 after the 7.00 AM mass. The Vice-President of the Parish Pastoral Council, Mr Anil Patrao welcomed the gathering and spoke a few words on the service that Fr. Peter D’souza had rendered in Most Holy Redeemer Church. He read out the Felicitation Certificate. It was then time for Fr. Peter D’souza to speak his heart out. Fr. Peter D’souza elaborated on how he was able to do a lot of work in Derebail. Activities in a parish are the result of joint effort by the parishioners and the priests. Fr. Peter D’souza then thanked the parishioners for their unfailing support during his service in Derebail. Edward Coelho, the Secretary of Parish Pastoral Council then rendered the Vote of thanks. After this, all the parishioners were served breakfast.
