A talk on Preparation for KPSC Commercial Tax Inspector Exam

The Most Holy Redeemer Church, Derebail organised a talk on preparation for KPSC Commercial Tax Inspector Exam at Church meeting hall on 17 September, 2023 at 10 A.M. 

Rev. Fr Joseph Martis, Parish Priest; Mrs Amline Dsouza - Commercial Tax Inspector, Government of Karnataka and the Resource Person for the session and parishioners were present.

Mr Alwin Sebastian Carvalho welcomed the gathering, introduced the Resource Person and briefed about the vacancies available for the post of Commercial Tax Inspector in Mangalore. 

Mrs Amline in her session explained in detail about:

1. Who is a Commercial Tax Inspector?

2. Who is eligible to apply for the post?

3. How to apply?

4. How to prepare for the exam?

5. What are the various subjects to focus on while preparing for the exam?

In addition, she also recommended books to refer to and shared E-copies of the books to all the participants for free. She also explained the salary structure and spoke about promotions.

Rev. Fr Joseph Martis while addressing the gathering thanked the resource person and promised to have some more sessions in our parish in the future. Fr. Joseph Martis also encouraged the attendees to work hard and prepare well for the exam. 

The session concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr Alwin Carvalho.
