YCS parents- students meet

With great zeal and enthusiasm, a joint gathering was organised for  Young Catholic Students( YCS) and their parents on 4 June, 2023 at the Church Meeting Hall.  The goal of this programme was to  highlight the need of the youth  to join YCS and  parents supporting them for this cause. 

Fr Rupesh Madtha, Editor of Rakno and former Director of  YCS Mangalore Diocese was the Resource Person. 
Fr Rupesh Madtha elaborated about the methodology of YCS meetings-' See,Judge and  Act'  and explained the need for parents support to encourage their children to join YCS. 
Parents of about 42 YCS members were present.
Rev.Fr. Joseph Martis, Parish priest ,addressed the gathering. Fr Kevin DSouza , Asst. Parish Priest and YCS Animators-Mr Gladson Monteiro, Mrs Jonita Monteiro and Ms Delina  were also present.
It was a fruitful meet and parents and YCS members gained from it.
