Women's Association Visits Prasanth Nivas Orphanage, Jeppu

20 members and 2 children from the Women's Association, Most Holy Redeemer Church Derebail, visited Prasanth Nivas Orphanage, Jeppu on 15th May 2026 at 4:00 PM.

On arrival, the sisters of the Orphanage greeted the members. The visit to the orphanage was  heartwarming and an impactful experience. The visit aimed not only to provide material support, but also to love, care and give company to those in need.

The members spent time getting to know the little ones, listening to their woes, singing,and also engaged in some conversations.

Mrs. Merlin Mascarenhas and group sang a Konkani and a Kannada song. Mrs.Sabitha Fernandes and Mrs. Lydia Dcosta gave a dance performance.

The inmates were overjoyed to see the enthusiasm of the Women's Association members. 

The President then handed over a token of love collected from the members.

In conclusion, the visit had enlightened the members that even small gestures of kindness can create a profound impact.
